On February, 8th, 2012It's an Everyone's Fight!
A writer might compare his life to a book, a runner would say his life is like a marathon, and Alexey Tishchenko, double Olympic champion in boxing, says: “My life is a fight! I already won the first round”. Indeed, that couldn't be more true: among Alexey's achievements are two gold medals at the Olympics, worldwide recognition, four years of hard work as deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Omsk Oblast. Now, when sport battles are over, the Olympic champion is starting the second round. In January 2012 Alexey decided to stand for the post of deputy of Omsk City Council for constituency No.6.
On December, 12th, 2011Omsk Held a Farewell from Sports Ceremony for Tishchenko
The farewell ceremony for Alexey Tishchenko, dedicated to his retirement from sports, was held within the traditional A. Ostrovsky boxing tournament. “Youth” dance troupe of the Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sports celebrated the hero of the day with a special program.

Hero of our time
It is well-known that in September 'Champion's Anatomy', the documentary about Alexey Tishchenko's life, was awarded one of the main prizes at the the III International Sports Film Festival. The event took place in Saransk, bringing together participants from 25 countries. Last Saturday, October 22, more good news came from Ufa. The documentary was declared winner of the International Festival of Socially Significant Television Programs and Films “The Hero Of Our Time”.

The creative group of the film 'Champion's Anatomy' headed by the central character of the documentary, double Olympic champion Alexey Tishchenko, held a press-conference in the regional Journalists' House. The subject of the press-conference was the good news that the documentary 'Champion's Anatomy' was awarded one of the main prizes at the the III International Sports Film Festival.
On September, 14th, 2011Documentary from Omsk starts its Festival History
Alexey Tishchenko has returned from the International forum ’Russia — Country of Sports’ in Saransk. There he spoke at a round-table discussion on the issues of social adaptation of athletes. The round-table discussion was opened by a short version of the film ’Champion’s Anatomy’ directed by Vladimir Golovnyev, winner and awardee of numerous Russian and international documentary film festivals.

Alexey Tishchenko, double Olympic Champion, Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Omsk Oblast, received a letter signed by M. Bariev, Secretary General of Russian Olympic Committee. Marat Bariev thanked the legendary Siberian athlete for his “ persistent and fruitful efforts in promoting the ideas of Olympism in Omsk and Omsk Oblast”.
Alexey and Maria – happiness forever
An ocean of flowers, smiles, and sincere joyful wishes flooded the newlywed Alexey and Maria Tishchenko as they stood together, overwhelmed by happiness, in the spacious room of the Omsk M.A. Vrubel Museum of Fine Arts after the registration of their marriage and the symbolic ring exchange. A new life is starting for the happy couple – the life blessed by marriage, and every one of the guests felt the emotion of the moment.

Alexey Tishchenko appears on silver screen: as double Olympic champion, as World and European Champion, as Merited Master of Sport of Russia, and now – as deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Omsk Oblast. The film is directed by Vladimir Golovnyev, winner and awardee of numerous Russian and international documentary film festivals. Alexey and Vladimir are peers: both representatives of the same generation, successful and talented young men.

Participants of the all-Russian Youth Train campaign made a stop in Omsk. Alexey Tishchenko eagerly responded to the invitation to meet honored guests. He firmly believes that all means of informing Russian youth about volunteer movement and promoting healthy lifestyle should be welcomed and encouraged. Youth Train route is as large-scale as our country itself. The way from Ulan-Ude to Moscow means thousands of kilometers, hundreds of smiles, millions of hopes and a whole ocean of heartfelt emotions.

Dear Ching-Kuo Wu!
With great interest I've been watching your active work as president of AIBA. You are the great scientist. Note the progress regarding the establishment of the Academy of Boxing AIBA, a certain expansion of the geographical representation of world champions and other prestigious international tournaments for the first time, as we know, in London in 2012, to the ring as a full member of the competition will come boxers women... However, all is certainly useful innovations that have appeared over the years of your presidency, in my subjective opinion, pales when you start to explore in more detail the situation relating to the judicial practice.
