Hero of our time

It is well-known that in September 'Champion's Anatomy', the documentary about Alexey Tishchenko's life, was awarded one of the main prizes at the the III International Sports Film Festival. The event took place in Saransk, bringing together participants from 25 countries. Last Saturday, October 22, more good news came from Ufa. The documentary was declared winner of the International Festival of Socially Significant Television Programs and FilmsThe Hero Of Our Time.

 The Festival jury board included Leonid Mlechin, TV journalist; Rauf Atamalibeknov, president and CEO of United Multimedia Projects (UMP) Film Company; Vitali Mansky, president of the Russian Art Documentary Film Festival 'Artdocfest' and general producer of National Award 'Laurel Branch'; Mikhail Degtyar, vice-president of the Guild of Nonfiction Film and Television; Kirill Nabutov, member of the Russian Television Academy, TV producer and TV presenter.

- The Festival awardees are the films featuring our contemporaries who show strong moral values and principles in interaction with others and with society, who stand their ground, often against all odds, - emphasized Eduard Sagalaev, president of the National Association of TV and Radio Broadcasters. - The modern 'Hero of Our Time' is a person capable of acting honorably and retaining his noble qualities in an extreme situation.
