It is really a rare case when the first serious success of the young man at the international level at once is the victory over Olympic Games. - Certainly, no, in fact that contender came on a ring with a trauma of a hand which had recieved on a course of the championship, we knew already after the fight.

- Your semifinal duel against Italian Viorela Simeone to whom, two years ago you had lost, turned out transient ly also. This time you won a clear advantage, and fight had been stopped already in the third round. Whether there was a duel in this world championship which was gave to you hard?

- Perhaps, these words can be carried to the second fight against the boxer from Dominican republic. All the same for that moment I had yet not felt pulse of the championship. Then entered into a habitual rhythm and began to add from a duel to a duel.

- Many experts expected from your weight category of a final meeting between Russian Tischenko and Cuban Toledano. He, however, had finished performance in the world championship ahead of schedule, having stumbled in the final. Did You, having lost an opportunity to meet the terrible contender, find more pluss or minuses in it?

- This situation as a whole, probably, can be carried to success at a toss-up. But if there were the Cuban in contenders so let it be . I have no special value against whom to fight on a ring, S hadulin as the contender in final fight looked more poorly. On the other hand, if I would win a Toledano , this victory would be more prestigious. Till now I do not know, what is better.

- As is known, the next years{summer} Olympic Games will take place in China in 2008. In this connection it is curious to know about a level of the organization of the present championship.

- It had been organized, remarkable, in my opinion. Chineses had constructed a modern complex specially to tournament, on fights there were many spectators not bad understanding boxing came, and in the championship for the first time participated more than 400 sportsmen that never happened earlier.

- Is the circumstance at which you were the only one Olympic champion in structure of Russia combined team in this world championship, imposed the additional responsibility?

- More likely yes, than no. So happens, as on a cup of the world, and in the world championship, that my fights became critical for a combined team. This time during quarterfinal duels our two boxers, had fight up to me, defeated. I went the third, I won the fight and after that guys came on a ring, won too. It turns out, that it’s my role in a team – the breaker .

On the question, how he was going to celebrate a victory, world champion Alexey Tischenko remarked that he represented a holiday in a circle of family and close friends. « It would be desirable to listen, - he smiled, - as they rooted for me worried and experienced. And simply it would be desirable to sit, communicate. All the same we didn’t see each other exactly for a month ».
